A painter returns to the city of her youth for a retrospective show of her art. She comes to an understanding of her younger self. Beautifully written. Her first chapters dealing with aging definitely brought some chuckles of recognition from me.

Though this book was well written I still found the story extremely boring. It took me a while to finish it because I had to force myself to get through it. I guess this genre is just not my cup of tea. Moving on...
