What Members Thought
A very unique and beautifully written book. A very timely story, even though the events in the book happened decades ago. How many women can say they've never been scared, assaulted, raped, or even not believed by the patriarchal society we live in? Probably close to 100% of us. Imagine if that were your mother, and hearing the unthinkable happen, at age 12. I feel like the author bared her soul and wrote an incredibly honest book. Touching, sad, happy, moving, and honest.
