I've owned this book for years and have had it sitting on my coffee table along with a couple other poetry books basically as just decor. But since reading The Sweetest Kind of Poison last month and realizing I really wanted to get back into reading poetry, and also needing something short that would perhaps give my heart a little hope and healing, I finally decided to pick this up.

I almost never read poetry but this was evocative and sad. Some uplifting and pretty. It was nice to be able to read something in a short time but still get a lot out of it.
Simple, lovely poetry.

Read this book. again and again and again. Remind yourself who you are and who you love.
Gave me the emotions, triggers in this book. Warnings: dealin with rape abuse so on.
