I actually enjoyed this tale. Seen not so much good reviews on this book but I enjoyed seeing how Grace was going to get out of this strange relationship with her husband Jack.
He flipped a 1/80 so quickly it's ridiculous.
You never know who a person is at all. You see only what a person let you see.

I'll check out more books by this author.

I started listening to this as an audiobook but gave up on it because it was going on and on and getting nowhere. I decided to try to finish it the old-fashioned way (reading the print edition) because several people told me it was definitely worth finishing.

They weren’t wrong but only because of the last couple of chapters. I read much more quickly than I listen, but even so, the book seemed to spend an inordinate amount of time describing all the different ways Jack tormented Grace. I got it ...more

This book is really hard for me to rate...I want to rate it a 3 1/2. At first I didn't like how the book was written in the present and past, but in the end I thought it was really a cool way to tell the story. There were part of the book I really liked and parts I didn't...in the end though I found myself not wanting to put it down! ...more

This book was twisted. And far too believable. Some really twisted things were revealed really early on, and the story moved like a runaway train. Definitely worth the read.
