For the most part, I liked it. Celaena was sometimes interesting and her story was engaging but sometimes she seemed really off - super-awesome-sauce assassin, survived horrific slavery twice by the age of 18, lost her parents to violence, and girly-girl fashionista? She was so easy to rile and incredibly impatient and sometimes ridiculously stupid and yet she's somehow the world number one assassin.
