For being only 90 pages, there's a lot of story in here. But also not as much as I would have liked. I know it's the first in a trilogy so obviously there's more to it, but I'm not sure why such short works were separated into three volumes.

It's intriguing for sure, and I definitely feel invested in Binti's story and want to know what happens to her after the events of this novella. The world Okorafor created here is fascinating too, especially how she was able to take these very non-human entit

This is not my normal genre but I really enjoyed this sci fi/ fantasy novel. The description is wonderful and brings out the ability to visualize the scenes. The characters are a mix of both human and extra terrestrial. This is the first in a series and it sets up an interesting premise and characters with an intriguing relationship that will be interesting to see if it develops as the series progresses. The genre of this novella is called Afrofuturist. I loved the Afro part, but the sci-fi aspect is just not my thing. Nevertheless, the story was well written and highly imaginative.
