This novel consists of emails to and from various people, narration, texts, letters, and more -- which I found a little hard to get used to at first but by the end, thoroughly enjoyed. The major players are intriguing and unusual, especially the title character Bernadette, who is the teenaged narrator's mother. This is one I am going to want to read again. Recommended!
