It may have taken me 18 years to finally sit down and read Harry Potter, but it was worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed this, both for myself and in delicious anticipation of being able to read it to my children when they are old enough. Perhaps some of the magic was taken away because I had seen the film of this, the first Harry Potter, but I am so pleased I haven't seen all of the films so some of the later books are really going to be a surprise. I can't wait.
