A banned book
Ok, it took 18 years of peer pressure to finally read this book. When this book came out, I was 11 years old and I was deeply in love with classic literature and I was already a book snob. Even though everyone was telling me to read the book, I thought it was a "baby book" and it would be too easy for me.
