A banned book
Ok, it took 18 years of peer pressure to finally read this book. When this book came out, I was 11 years old and I was deeply in love with classic literature and I was already a book snob. Even though everyone was telling me to read the book, I thought it was a "baby book" and it would be too easy for me. J.K. Rowling has such an incredible imagination! These books are great for kids and adults-- they teach so many lessons as well as entertain!
Feels soooo good to revisit to the wizarding world! This fully illustrated copy is just fantastic and adds up to the magic and whimsicality of everything. I was feeling a reading slump coming along and this definitely got me through.
