One of the sweetest love stories I have read in a long time. I put the book down with a huge smile plastered on my face and flutter in my heart. This should give you an idea about how much I enjoyed the book.

I was disappointed with this book. There were some parts to this book that were great, but also some parts that were terrible. I recently saw the movie, and I loved it; I thought it was one of the best movies I've seen. The movie changed a lot about the book, and personally, I think they were all changes made for the better.
Things I liked:
Simon and (view spoiler) were absolutely adorable. The scenes with them saved the book for me.
Abby was an angel.

Overall I found this book quite boring. I was never entertained and it made reading a chore. The book did not read authentic at all, not for the situation(s) or for the characters. The voice of the teenage boy did not come across as authentic to me, although he was quite annoying and meant to be funny when he was not...so maybe some teenage boys I suppose.
