It was okay. Just really slow.
Five stars first 30%, two stars last 50%. What a nosedive! Still fairly enjoyable but the whole thing slipped out of the author's hands. Characters who were important in the first third are gone entirely from the rest of the book, while the book introduces a character or two out of left field who exist solely to be a cartoonish menace or exposition source.
