This quirky book is a fun way to teach little ones how to read. The surprises in the book are a memory aid, and the rhyming sounds are appealing. I like the colorful illustrations. It was a good idea to make use of iconic nursery rhymes in the text and pictures in a fresh way, for example, the cow jumping over the moon.
