I had every intention of reading Agatha Christie's books through in order of publication. But having read The Mysterious Affair at Styles, the first novel featuring Hercule Poirot, I couldn't resist reading this one next as it is the first novel to feature Miss Marple. She had previously appeared in the book of short stories The Thirteen Problem, but we see her here as an integral part of the social network of the village of St Mary Mead where she lives.

The Murder at the Vicarage
Another novel by Agatha Christie. I've been a fan of Christie's novels for four years and I had never read a book that does not meet my high expectations.
Unfortunately, this book is different. It was a long book with slow events and it took me one month to finish it. Besides that, I believe that I personally prefer Poirot more than Marple and this novel is one of Marple's cases.

Knowing Mss. Marple
A murder history told in the first person by a Vicar. Lot of characters interacting in a good plot. One cannot grasp the answers till the end. Agatha Christie present Miss Marple to her readers. Such a clever woman!
