A short interlude in the ongoing of life for Flavia de Luce. Having received a note, from a boy attending a local school about a murder, Flavia sets off to find the sender. Being a Sunday, the school is not following a school day, so Flavia finds it easy to visit the boy. She views the victim and using her knowledge of chemistry starts her investigation.

This was a shorter installment of this series. Flavia receives a cryptic note calling her to Anson House, Stairwell #3, Greyminster, the local boys school. When she arrives, she finds a terrified boy and the body of a teacher, seated in a bathtub, cast in copper. Flavia jumps to work and quickly solves this perplexing mystery. A great, but too short read.
