What Members Thought
The more Maigret novels I read, the more I believe I've made a good choice in reading the entire series. I am only through book four and I'm already craving the next one.

In this episode of Maigret, he finds himself drawn into a crime by chance when he sees a man dressed as a vagrant, wrapping paper money into a parcel. He takes note of the address the parcel is mailed to, and decides to follow this man. He buys an identical suitcase to the one the man has got with him and when the opportunity arises, he swaps the cases. Maigret then follows the man. Unfortunately, when the man finds that the case he was carrying is the wrong case, he commits suicide by shooting
