What Members Thought

As much as I do love Christie's books, I did find this to be not one of her best. I believe she wrote this pretty early on, and that would explain why it felt so unpolished, unlike the books where she had got into her stride. There is quite a bit of action in this book, but poor Bobby and Frankie did seem a bit dim at times. The plot was complicated, but the coincidences were far-fetched. A good read but not a great one

An enjoyable Non-Poirot, non-Miss Marple Agatha Christie whodunit. A good, amusing, semi-adventure story basis, similar to a Tommy and Tuppence story.

I started this last year for the Read Christie 2022, but never finished it. Re read it and what a fun bunch of twists and turns! This might be my first stand alone of Christie’s and I loved it!

A fun romp with likeable characters and their unlikely adventures.
