Fun collection of short mysteries, loosely based on Greek mythology (12 Labors of Hercules). As I like to do with short story collections, I reviewed each as I read it, visible above. I won’t repeat it all here, but will just add I had not read these before, but had seen at least one of them dramatized with David Suchet as Poirot. I generally prefer other classic mystery writers (Ngaio Marsh, Dorothy Sayers, et al) but I love a few Agatha Christie books and this collection is now one of them. The character of Hercule Poirot is deservedly beloved.
