Another fabulous Poirot novel and an easy 4 stars

More tomorrow, hopefully 😬

Well for various reasons it has been considerably more than just a single day later, why ? well all sorts really, family visits, car MOTs, helping neighbours etc etc.

Anyway, I have this vague memory of seeing the great David Suchet's version of this story, and I therefore knew there (view spoiler).

A very enjoyable novel with a lot of twists and turns. I liked the aspect of the novel where the deceased's character was called into question, it's a technique you see a lot in mysteries and thrillers - questioning how much we really know about the deceased or missing person was like. The same twist was used in Gone Girl. A sad story, as the title suggests! ...more
