I'm a long time Agatha Christie fan, and I respect her for not writing the exact same book over and over. But not everything she wrote works for me, and this is one of her misses. I think this book has several strikes against it. First, it's a psychological mystery, which I don't ever care for. Second, the "heroine" Eleanor spends the entire book in some sort of dreamy state of shock where nothing feels real and she doesn't think clearly.
