I didn't remember this book very well at all, but of course I have seen the Joan Hickson adaptation. Even so, I found that I was not completely sure about who did it (view spoiler)

Mr. Rafiel (from A Caribbean Mystery) has passed away but in a letter to Jane he asks her to solve a mystery for him but gives her no clues as to what it is. Jane accepts and the adventure begins.
Nemesis - "the inescapable agent of someone's or something's downfall"
I love this term as referred to Miss Marple.

One of the few books that refers to a previous book in the series. I enjoyed it a lot, however I did think there was a lot of repetition throughout. It was as if the author thought we may have been forgetting a lot of it. As this was one of Christie's late books, I did wonder if she was having trouble remembering what she had written. Still as it was this author, I will forgive her anything.

This story can be seen as a continuation to A Caribbean Mystery. However, you need not read to the previous novel to understand this one. It is very curious case which Miss Marple deals with. I liked the way the whole crime was set up & the challenges Aunt Jane faces before figuring out the culprit. This is one of those novels which I can see emerging as a movie in the near future.
