Another re- listen in 2020. Still just as good. Some really well- written and touching scenes. Not all of Christie’s characters are cardboard cutouts as some so glibly say.

Well, I've read this before, and listened to it twice, and seen the faithful Joan Hickson BBC version many times, so know every plot development and twist. Probably my favourite Miss Marple story so far. It was a very clever plot.

Miss Marple's Wisdom
A murder is announced in the local paper. When its actually happens, the Police, with the inestimable help of Miss Marple, gets to solve the matter. In a dynamic plot, with numerous characters and unexpected events, Agatha Christie guides the reader to the answer. One has to pay close attention in order to discover the murderer. This is an interesting plot with a surprising end.
