Agatha Christie fooled me again! I loved this book so much. It had everything, a story about a man moving to a small town with his sister. He is recovering from a flying accident and his doctor recommended rest. Instead, he found a town seething with secrets and eventually murder. There are two romances I didn't see coming (well, one I did.)
The best part I wasn't expecting was Miss Marple coming in at the end to help solve the crime. And the resolution was exceptional. I thought for once I'd sol ...more

Someone is sending anonymous accusatory letters to people all over town. After receiving one of the nasty letters a woman takes her own life. The police can't solve the case so the vicar's wife decides to call in an expert, Miss Marple, to save the day.

The twists and turns with this story are quite ingenious and keeps the reader guessing. Fun read. ...more

This book is a must-read to understand how crazy the mind of a murderer works. An important thing in the story which was the letters sent to everyone is something which sheds light on how people gossip about others even today.
