This is a collection of thirteen short stories told by the members of the Tuesday Club which includes Miss Marple. The group of friends each tell the story of various mysteries they have come across during their lives - professional and private - and invite the others to work out the solutions. Naturally Miss Marple is the person who provides the correct solutions.

My particular favourite is the Blue Geranium which I always find particularly sinister though the solution is simple in the end. The

Basically, in this collection of short stories, Miss Marple and her friends were having a gathering of somekind. Each of them shared mysterious stories and the rest tried to guess what happened or who did it. As a reader, it’s just incredibly fun to make my own guess. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I want to say that there were interesting dynamics between older and younger generation. And my favourite comment from Miss Marple on this subject is, ‘I hope you dear young people will never realise how very wick

My first introduction to Miss Marple, and I think she is marvellous! Her cosy demeanour, the knitting, with her sparkling eyes and sharp mind. Some very clever plots and sly humour within these stories. Looking forward to discovering more Miss Marple.

"The Thirteen Problems" is the second appearance of Miss Marple. But, this is rather an anthology of short mysteries with Miss Marple at the helm. In this anthology, we enjoy the little old Miss Jane Marple, a maiden aunt with a razor-sharp mind. Her intelligence belies her appearance.

In this book, she and the company propose a game: that each one tells of an otherwise unsolved mystery that only they know the solution to, and see how many among them can tumble to the correct answer. The game is

I had intended this book to be only read during travelling. Joke's on me :P
Finally finished this after procrastinating it for weeks! No doubt, a wonderful collection of short stories. Surprisingly, my favourite was The Affair at the Bungalow

This leaves only the last novel in the Miss Marple series: Miss Marple's Final Cases (Miss Marple) by Agatha Christie

Finished this book and throughly enjoyed it. I would say I don't normally enjoy short stories, but having now read two I have liked a lot, this and one by DLS, I will have second thoughts on them. I found this to be very good. It built the character of Miss Marples, to give an understanding of her methods of detection, so in the following books we would realise how believable she would be. ...more
