December 2022 - Lunchtime Listen
(New edition narrated Stephanie Cole)
So with all the house renovations coming to a halt for the holidays (we are almost finished anyway) this lunchtime listen extended into a couple of afternoons after long walks in the frosty countryside.
As stated below this is an enjoyable read, an enjoyable watch (with Joan Hickson) and now an enjoyable listen with the wonderful actress Stephanie Cole.

Another excellent Christie novel. Great plot and characters. I must watch the movie. I like the red herrings and how Marple draws it all neatly together in the final pages. Looking forward to my next Miss Marple mystery.

That's an engaging reading. A mystery full of surprises and hard to solve. One must love Miss Marple, her cleverness and capacity to stick to details. The story flows naturally, always claiming the reader's attention. Like it a lot! ...more

I remembered this as being one of my favourite Christies, and it did not disappoint!

One of my favourite moments, is when Mrs Bantry returns, sums up her husband's mood and is all 'We're sitting in the library.' Anyone else think their neighbours are going to be in trouble?
