I have been rereading this slowly, a chapter a day over the last few weeks. I absolutely love this book, it is so much more than a detective mystery. It's also about women's choices or not having choices, about whether women can have a career and a marriage at the same time. It's also a love story to Oxford and academia. Too much waffle for me. I am not someone who needs to know in detail what people are wearing unless it is important to the story. The plot was quite good but I struggled with the book
