An amazing ending to a book series that has taken readers on a journey through generations. Graham did a phenomenal job mixing in mystery and suspense in this book - an element that we hadn't yet seen with this series. The Poldarks are back again and exploring different aspects of their life. He ends the series tying up loose ends and creating a sense of completion around the family.

So many loose ends are tied in this book, and Graham leaves the end as most of his other novels... wishing you could see more of the story. The "ends" that are tied are ones that are not obvious. I would say the way he ties the loose ends are more like the way actual life happens. It's not a pretty bow, just a few messy knots to hold it together. That's the way life tends to be.
