What a mind bender of a book. Once I started it I could not put it down. I became familiar with Blake Crouch through Wayward Pines and this new book is also SF. Jason Dessen is a physics professor living with his wife and son in Chicago. Jason is happy but occasionally wonders what would have happened if he had stuck with his doctoral work and his wife had become an artist. Then one day Jason is attacked and he ends up in an alternate reality. There are a lot of twists and turns after this but I don't want to give the plot away. A gripping, fast read. I had read rave reviews about this book and people have been recommending it to me for so long but I didn't want the hype to keep me from enjoying this book and that is why I put it off for so long and now that I finally caught up to it, I am glad I waited.
