Spooky house spooky story but lots of long winded passages.
The Haunting Of Hill House is a classic horror story. The story begins with Dr. Montague who is a scholar of the occult wanting to have final evidence of a true haunting. He gathers information looking for the perfect people to help him. He rents Hill House for the summer. A house with a tragic past that the town it sits in won't even discuss. Dr. Montague invites two women with past psychic abilities to Hill House which is supposed to be haunted. Also in the house is Luke, the future heir of Hill House. The book started slow but got good as the spooky stuff began to happen. The end of the book is very weird which made this only a 3 star read.
