I really liked this book considering I kept comparing it to The Mortal Instruments. I didn't like it as well as I liked Mortal Instruments series but over all I enjoyed the book. I really liked all the characters as well as the plot. I definitely did not see the plot going where it did when I originally started reading the series because it was sat in the 1800s. Clockwork Angel is one of my favorite books! Tessa, Will, Jem, Henry, Charlotte, even Sophie and Jessamine, are some of the best characters I've read about! Cassandra Clare is such a good author, I would read any book she writes!

This was really good. It is a prequel to the Mortal Instruments. It is great but, not as amazing as the Mortal Instruments. It is Shadowhunters 150 years ago and the main character is a girl named Tessa. She is not a Shadowhunter, she is some kind of shape shifter.
