OK...this is quite possibly one of the most beautiful books I have ever read. Days later I'm finding myself still thinking about Manderly and the De Winters. This book is exquisitely written with a captivating story that you can't help but fall in love with while du Maurier sprinkles in the perfect amount of dread and mystery that send chills down your spine. It makes for the perfect cozy fall read.

Wow! That was unexpected! I am surprised that a book written so long ago could be so very entertaining, so suspenseful! Can't wait to watch the movie and see the mini series now.
