Am I the only person who didn’t enjoy this? I've heard so much good stuff about this book, so I was really surprised when I had to force myself to finish it. The whole package – setting, plot, pacing – came across as deliberate/contrived and awkward. I thought the suspense over Rebecca was overdone. By the time the 'secret' about Rebecca was revealed, it was kind of a letdown considering the wait the reader had to go through.
