This was excellent. I couldn’t put it down. I do have to say I would shave a hair off 5 stars for the ridiculous amount of aphorisms used by all three characters. Am I the only one to notice this?

Loved this. I loved being back in the world of the handmaiden. I thought the book had a great story and I absolutely loved seeing things from AL's perspective. I could tell some parts were written with modern critique in mind, but it didn't bother me. So very thought provoking. I didn't love how much Jade swore- it seemed like it came out of nowhere and was only being used to distinguish her as a narrator. I would have liked the narration styles to be a bit more unique.
