What Members Thought
This is a good read and I like it more than most I have read in the genre of New Weird. However, it is not a complete story. Many questions are raised and there are no answers to be had in this volume. I think my final opinion of this book will depend on the rest of the trilogy.
This was a challenge to get through. For such a short book it felt like it took forever. I tried to read it and only made it through the first 10 pages before giving up. I saw the movie and then came back, this time I went with an audiobook. It still didn't make this book anymore engaging and I'm baffled that such an excellent film came come from a book that's so dry and pedantic with the pros and descriptions.
