I enjoyed this book! There was too much blood and too much heterosexuality, but I enjoyed it! I do not know that I will read the next ones.
I thought the characterization + world-building was good. The description of the magic system was interesting, and I Would like to know more about it. I thought it was ok. The mascarade ball was my favorite part. Meh.
