If the rest of the series is as magical and imaginative as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, then it's no wonder that it's so popular. This was a very enjoyable book, and I can't wait to read it aloud with my kids when they are a little older. I have a feeling they will love it!

I've lost count of how many times I've read this over the years. I was wary of rereading it again after so long, afraid it'd spoil the nostalgia now that I'm all grown up into a cynical asshole. But no, it still makes me smile.

Re-read/listened to this over Covid quarantine through the wizarding world at home website. Celebrities all read each of the chapters and it was great fun!
