What Members Thought

I think it's really important to keep in mind that this is a children's book, and NOT to keep in mind the author and his personal life/statements. With those two things, this is a fantastic book. From what I've read, it seems people love this book if they read it as kids, but hate it if they read it as adults, and the above two reasons are probably why.

I can't wait to read the second one and re-watch the movie. They left so much out and I enjoyed both the book and the movie. I really liked Ender and I liked reading about the struggle that he went through to not be like his older brother. I feel like the emotions he felt were true to his age and for the situationn he was in being as strange as it was, I feel like he handled himself so well.
