While it took me a couple of chapters to get into it, by the end I did find myself drawn into the tensions and the emotions portrayed. I also found myself pondering what it meant to be great, both in life and in death, and how we so often define ourselves by those things that, at the end of the day, are inconsequential or misleading.

This book really is wild in the vein of "rich people doing shit and not facing consequences" - in that way it doesn't even feel as old as it is. Daisy saying "you ought to see the baaaaby" made me laugh.
