What Members Thought
I blame the holiday season for me taking so long to read this relatively short novel. An interesting story of forbidden love told in an unusual way.
I adored this book and will probably reread it, just to savor it again. Reading it, you feel like you're sitting at the feet of your grandmother and being included into a rich and beautiful family legend. The writing is exquisite, the narrative is fanciful and the heroine, Tita, becomes an old friend.
