3.5 rounded up to a 4. What makes this book good is less about the actual story (which is like a classic tragedy in a way) and more about the writing style. Very unique. I really liked the female characters. Oscar not so much.... obviously, but it's good to not like every character in a book. Overall, a good read that transports you into the full narrative of this family. ...more
