The Lady Anna
BUT WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL?? Hope? Sorrow? There are a lot of good things about this book. The language choices are good, it travels back and forth in its time line very effectively, the characters are interesting, and I loved the title tie in a lot. But if the point of this book is to appreciate what you have when you have it, every moment is precious, and it could all be gone in an instant: well that point was made about halfway through. I finally figured I better convince my book club to read it so that I would as well. I understand the great reviews because the writing was spectacular and very thought provoking. I think I'll be circling back to this book in my thoughts for some time. ...more
