Short book. Good story. Favorite parts were when he was in the house. Had a good story. Hard to believe that this book was written by a woman and in the 1980's. Liked it.

Loved it, finished in a day.
I hate to say it, but I actually preferred the film version. I think it was scarier and was able to more effectively play on its audience than this particular narrative
