What Members Thought

This book is so randomly weird, which is probably its appeal. Its a fantasy world that's been cobbled together, with a kind of steampunky flair: man-dogs, hopping scarecrows, seven-league boots, and of course the ubiquitous moving castle.

I really really liked it, perhaps i would have given it another star if i hadn't watched the movie already like a bazilion times.
Also the ending was kind of obvious? and i found the development between howl and sophie rather unbelievable? they jumped into love too fast, i feel like it could have had a couple more chapters for things to be more spaced out. and some things are never quite explained. I don't know, it could have been more witty and smart about some stuff.
