There were a few moments where the narrator discovered things that I didn't really follow her process, but overall, this is an excellent fantasy book that isn't dystopian, has mostly nonwhite characters, and I love the setting. An excellent choice. ...more

It was fine. I think it's one of those things - urban fantasy is usually better for me in the sequels. This book was mostly people refusing to tell Sierra things which was just annoying. ...more

This book felt like a revenge fantasy on people who appropriate your culture and I liked it a lot. I did think it was a slow start but the second half went really quick.
