This book is worth reading for the figure of Mr. Bones -- a repurposed Imperial battle droid rebuilt out of spare parts and animal bones and programmed with a hodgepodge of software routines so he tends to sing and dance his way through his bodyguard duties -- alone, but there is lots more to enjoy in this Force-light entry in the new Star Wars canon.

This is going to be hard to write without giving away any spoilers so I'm going to try and be vague.
First off, the writing style. At some points at this book it is really bad. For example, in one paragraph the same characters name is said in every sentence like he was allergic to pronouns. In other paragraphs no sentence was longer than 5 words. It is like he took parts of a script he was writing and just cut and paste it into the book.
