3.5 This is a really good book, well written with an exciting plot, but around at the halfway point I am like "wow this is too long. I am getting bored." There is NO reason this book should be 1000 pages long. and honestly this could probably be decreased by half without hurting the feel/message of the story.

This one is kind of tough to rate because it's a 5-star book I have some minor complaints about, but there's enough of them for me to drop it a star. The biggest one is some of the weirdness I knew about going in, which softened the blow when it happened, but I still think (view spoiler)
