I think this is the only time I've said this but.... I wish there was a epilogue.

Overall I enjoyed the story. My only complaints are minor things about stylistic choices the author made when it came to foreshadowing.

Highly recommended for those who enjoy adventure and life and death math explanations!

Mark Watney’s journal is terrifying. He is an astronaut stranded on Mars. He keeps the electronic journal in case someday someone is able to read about how he tried to stay alive as long as he could. The state of space travel in The Martian is ahead of the real world but still with limitations – the next manned expedition to Mars won’t arrive for 4 years and even with his fancy potato farm he won’t make it that long.

I listened to this book as an audiobook. I think it helped a lot to make the story more lively, since there is a lot of technical jargon and calculations. 4,5/5!
