I've given all 3 LotR books 4/5 stars. However, I want to clarify that I enjoyed RotK much better than the other 2.
I still gave 4/5 because it just didn't rock my world. The appendices were nice but I only ended up skimming them. I appreciate the level of depth he went into in creating this world. Genius really. ...more
