My mom and I saw this at a garage sale and she insisted that I get it. I had no interest in reading it, but after carrying it from apartment to apartment I finally read it, and loved it. It ended up being one of favorite books, like if I were stranded on a desert island and could only take a limited number of books this would be one of them.
I did it ! Boy , it 's a challenging book to read but I have finally finished Moby Dick. It's a strange novel, the language is difficult to understand, sometimes it becomes poetic and sometimes a chapter is written as if it was a play with stage directions etc. It is also very very long but I now know an awful lot about 19th century whaling ships
