After starting off winter break seeing Knives Out, I was in the mood to read some more Agatha Christie. This novel definitely satisfied that craving; I just didn't LOVE it. The ending was certainly unexpected- I definitely did not figure out the perpetrator before Poirot spelled it out (the BEST kind of mystery novel). I just tend to love a little more action throughout; most happened on the front end of the book in this particular case. ...more
